what a hoot

Just thought I would share a cushion I made recently.  It is destined for the little fairy's bedroom.

I made the front using white linen with applique, sketching the owl freehand on paper and using fabric scraps for each individual piece which were hand appliqued on to the linen.  The eyes are blue buttons.

The back of the cushion is a simple envelope style made in red lecien fabric.

How cute is this fabric?

  2. This is just adorable, I made a very poor version of an owl a few months back for my eldest( owl mad) at the time she complained it didn't really resemble an owl however I did find it in her bed this morning so I don't think it was too bad! Ada:)
