simple pleasures

My simple pleasures.  The little things that have made me happy recently.

::   Blue skies.  Not many, but they were beautiful.
::   A day by the sea.  The first of many this year, I hope.
::   A brilliant yellow dandelion.  One of my favourite colours.
::   Echeveria.  The pink tips and how it lifts its leaves to the light.
::   Kitchenella.  From the library.  A good read.

So what's making you smile?

  11. We've had brilliant blue skies through most of this winter, which has been a blessing when the temperatures have been so low. Nothing like that clear blue is there? Lovely simple pleasures in your area Bee ... enjoy the rest of your week! Wendy x

  13. Excellent simple pleasures and that is a great photo of the succulent. I have Kitchenella and like it very much although, to be honest, I read it more than I cook from it, but that's ok I think! x

  14. I'll keep an eye out for that book - won't be difficult to spot, what with that lovely bright cover!
I like the photo of the Echeveria. Such a pretty colour combination... I also saw lots of dandelions mixed in with cowslips on the roadside verges yesterday and they made my heart leap a little bit at the prospect of warmer, brighter days yet to come.
