To my lovely husband Mr F, wishing you a wonderful, happy 40th birthday today.
I have baked a cake, a favourite, Mary Berry's Victoria Sponge. The recipe came from her book The Baking Bible but it is also available at the link above. It is very moreish and the fresh cream really makes it.
My lovely man will be spoilt this weekend. A special birthday and father's day. He has lucked out.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and try the cake. It's gorgeous.
