goodbye february ......

my garden moodboard for february ...

spring is awakening ...  and many of the plants in our garden are unfurling themselves from a deep, dark sleep ...

little buds bringing the promise of beautiful green foliage and wondrous blooms ...

february's moodboard is sparser than i expected but full of promise ... the last remaining berries are all but gone, but the trees and hedges are budding and showing the gorgeous pale green of new growth ...

and there are even a few tiny blooms to be found ... pretty snowdrops and catkins are among the few in our garden ...

i have loved searching in the garden for new growth, collecting and photographing the changes in nature these past two months ... thank you Caroline for the inspiration ... x

my january moodboard is here if you fancy a look ...

  5. I REALLY like this idea! I might have to try some nature-collage-photos myself. It looks like so much fun! I could take a 'nature bag' out on walks, like I used to when I was little! :-)

  7. Your mood board is so beautifully shot. There are lots of new buds, shoots and greenery popping up everywhere and now the birds are singing away. Spring is finally popping by. From your newest follower. Chel

  12. I LOVE catkins but couldn't find any in my garden yet! I think it is great to see the changes in the two boards already - each time I wonder what the next one is going to show. Is that a mushroom in the middle? x Jane

  17. Lovely - and how true and wonderful to describe it as 'full of promise'. That's glass-half-full thinking!!

  18. I love this idea of creating a garden moodboard. As we're pretty much starting our garden from scratch it would be really interesting for me to do to chart how we're progressing with what we put in our garden.

  19. Missed this. It's lovely ... all those bud-dy bits promising warmer seasons ahead. I've just put my latest mood board up too, it's sparser than yours but we have three things in common!
