52 weeks of happy (4/52)

The fourth week of Jen's 52 weeks of happy so here are my four simple, happy things.

Enjoying the beautiful illustrations in a new book for the little ones.  The artwork is so pretty.

Some lovely new fabrics from Sew La La.  Maybe a new quilting project.

My new Jane Foster rabbit.  I'm definitely keeping this one for myself.

A little posy of flowers picked from the garden by Mr F while he was mowing the lawn.  Very rosemantic.

Wishing you all a week of happy.

  8. The book looks delightful. I was so sad when my children grew too big for picture books that I started collecting them for myself, I must come by a copy of this one to add to the growing heap. Illustrations in children's books can be absolutely stunning can't they, and I very much like the way children's book illustrators often challenge artistic conventions and use really inventive media/materials and styles.

As for the rabbits ... both are adorable :D

    1. I thought it might make a cute quilt ... something easier and simpler than the other one I have on the go ... I was inspired by Jane Brocket's quilts in Mollie Makes ... and yes I love retro scandi ... so the rabbit is definitely a favourite ... Bee xx

  13. The rabbits are great, as are the fabrics. I'd love to make a quilt with those fabrics - sewing is however not my strong point, but maybe a small bit of patch working might feature on one of my weeks of happy one day. Lovely slices of happy though, thanks for sharing them!
