etsy love

A few of my rabbit themed etsy favourites,

scandinavian softie toy bunny from Jane Foster,

bunny and chick needle felting kit from Hanami Boutique,

and blue grey hares print from Dee Beale.

I have ordered the needle felting kit.  I had a go at needle felting at a workshop earlier this year and the bunny kit was too cute to resist.

Have any of you lovelies tried needlefelting?

    1. Hi Amanda ... needle felting is fun ... it's basically creating shapes from wool roving using fine needles with little hooks on and a foam block ... it takes practice ... of which I need a lot ... but I found it quite therapeutic ... have a lovely weekend ... Bee x

  2. Hi Bee, what a lovely selection of bunny goodness! I love Jane Foster's work, we haven't got any of her bunnies but I've got an Eskimo and a Lion, both designed for Clothkits, and one of her stunning vintage fabric cushions - oh and a couple of prints! I can;t wait to see how your needle felted bunny turns out, I've never tried it but it looks like fun! x

    1. Hi Rachel ... I love Jane's work as well ...I'm definitely going to be splurging ... needle felting was fun but what I was doing at the workshop was a lot simpler ... anyway I'm going to give it a go ... thought it would be cute for the little fairy's room if it is a success :) ... Bee xx

  6. hi Ada, you definitley like to try your hand and lots of things! I did have some needle felting gear, but a friend of mine tried and loved it so much, she was a real natural, I let it go her way. She is very good at making 3 dimensional things, I think my crafts tend to be flat!! good luck with it Heather x
