Just spent a lovely relaxed weekend, chilling out, going to the park,
making lion and
tiger pictures,
picking home grown beetroot to make some rather yummy beetroot and goats cheese risotto and
working on my Molllie Makes pledge. Here's a little peek at what I chose to make. I'm hoping to show you all later in the week.
My chill out plan was hatched because I was getting a little stressed about the mess around here. So rather than spend the next two weeks before school starts doing my nut, I have decided for the sake of sanity to let standards slip just a little until routine returns. I think it will mean a happy vibe around here.
Also receiving the Liebster award was really great but the most exciting thing about it has been finding so many more amazing blogs. Lots of lovely new reading for my blog roll.
It looks really interesting! I unsubscribed to Mollie as was getting disappointed with the amount of ads in it....but glad it still gives out some decent projects to make. Looking forward to seeing the results Heather x
ReplyDeleteI have a subscription at the minute but I decided to make something from each issue to make better use of it ... otherwise it was just gathering dust :) ... Bee x
DeleteI feelin a bit overwhelmed with the ads as well! Mine are gathering dust but I can't throw them out either nore am I sure I will resubsrcibe, £99 for international subscription! Feel free to share all the bet bits! :)
DeleteGosh Pippa ... that subscription price is pretty steep ... I'm not sure I could justify paying that much either, I subscribed earlier this year and will give it a go for a year ... I hope my pledge to make things will mean I get good use out of the magazine ... here's hoping anyway :) Bee x
DeleteJust chill and sew! It works a treat, that's what I've been doing today, in fact my fingers are aching! Can't wait to see the finished result! Ada :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your lovely makes ... chilling it the only way :) .. Bee x
DeleteYour mini bunting looks cute. Is it on a skirt? Love your nail polish colour I am totally loving aqua at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSorry Sarah ... should have made it clear ... the photo is the picture in Mollie Makes ... I am doing something similiar ... sorry my dopiness caused confusion ... I should have explained myself better ... I too love the nail polish :) Bee x
DeleteYour Mollie makes project looks good - I am dying to see the mini-bunting finished! I am catching up with my projects while the holidays last. Our house is a total tip. I've given up trying to tidy up after the kids until the schools go back! x
ReplyDeleteI am excited to see my little project completed ... it has taken more time than I imagined ... it isn't exactly like the skirt in Mollie Makes ... but I will have to claim artistic licence I suppose ... Bee x
DeletePS I am so glad I am not the only one who has given up on tidying ... at least, it won't be long now until school starts again :)
Ooh you're making the skirt, how exciting :o) I can't wait to see it Bee. xxx
ReplyDeleteps. jealous of your beets, I love them and made chocolate and beetroot cake with mine last year...yum!!!
