Hope you are all having a lovely Monday. I've collaged a few more of our holiday photos.
We spent the day in two beautiful National Trust properties, Mount Stewart and Castle Ward. The littles took part in the 'Turkey Olympics', a treasure hunt in Castle Ward and received their very own Olympic medals as a reward. It was really great fun.

We were lucky to have a beautiful sandy beach near by. We went there in the evenings when the sun was a little less hot. The water was really warm for paddling, a welcome change from our usual visits to the beach on the west coast of Ireland. The Atlantic Sea is absolutely freezing.
We visited Exploris, an aquarium with touch tanks and baby seals, explored rockpools, caught crabs and generally had a ball.
All in all, the holiday was great fun and we can't wait for our next adventure.
Reminds me of my holidays as a kid, especially exploring rock pools!x
ReplyDeleteGlad we brought back some happy memories :-) x
DeleteGreat pictures, it looks like you all had a great time, glad you had lovely weather while you were away. The touch tanks at the aquarium sound like fun. x
ReplyDeleteThe touch tanks were great ... I have a budding David Attenborough here ... he was in his absolute element ... he held starfish, sea urchins and scallops and touched some rays ... a brilliant experience!
DeleteHow fun! Looks like the children are having a blast! Your pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAly xx
Thanks Aly ... we really did have a wonderful time ... love making memories with the little ones ... xx
DeleteExploris sounds amazing - touch tanks, my two would love that! It looks like you had a wonderful time. x
ReplyDeleteIt was really great although quite busy ... the aquarium itself isn't huge but has a lot of different sea creatures ... and the touch tank was brilliant ... well worth a visit! x
