Linking up with lovely Jen for my first 52 weeks of happy of the new year.
I have been feeling pretty miserable with a horrible cold and cough. It is still bothering me so my happies are a little late this week. With a bit of luck I will be blooming with health again for next week. Fingers crossed.
Some lovely winter sunshine. I think we all need more of this.
A magic horse created by the little fairy on a rainy afternoon. I love the flower on his tail.
Lemons, for my beverage of choice at the moment. Hot water, honey and lemon.
And lastly, getting the Christmas decorations all packed away.
Simple happy things. Hope you are all having a happy, healthy start to the new year. x

ReplyDeleteSorry you've not been well Bee, there's so many lurgy's around at the moment isn't there? I always have teaspoons of honey for a sore throat...I swear by it for it's healing properties. Hope you're feeling tip top soon Claire x
ReplyDeleteOh you're so right, we all need yellow just now, be it lemons for the vitamin C and post Christmas tartness, or sunshine just because.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling a better Bee x
Hello Bee and a slightly belated Happy New Year! I really hope your cold stomps off and goes and bothers somebody else instead ;-)
ReplyDeleteLemons are brilliant! An osteopath advised me to have a lemon juice (instead of a sugar snack) when feeling tired for an energy boost. It really works every single time :-)

Get well soon, Bee - we too have been ridden with coughs and colds all through the last month. I love a honey and lemon drink, it just feels like it's doing your throat good. Also, a cup of ginger and lemon herbal tea can perk me up when I'm feeling under the weather.

Urgh, these colds and viruses have got super powers this winter. I was ill for weeks and now my husband has fallen prey to a nasty bout of tonsillitis too. Get well soon and take the time to rest up. X
