My four happy things this week. Daffodils picked from our garden, the blooms of the bulbs planted late last year.
Visiting the Creative Crafts Show with my lovely friend and feeding my fabric habit.
Cross stitching like crazy.
Preparing our vegetable patch for new plants. One bed done, another to do.
It just proves it is the simple things in life that make me happy. Hope your week was full of happiness too.
As always, I'm linking up with the lovely Jen for 52 weeks of happy.
Love that birdy fabric! I have raised bed sleeper envy, really fancy some like that in my garden. Did you have to get them from a reclamation yard?x
ReplyDeleteHi Helen ... my husband is a landscape gardener and got the sleepers a few years ago in a local builder's yard ... I have seen them in our local reclamation yard too ... they are really great for keeping the vegetable patch contained ... Bee xx
DeleteI picked daffodils from the garden on Sunday too, and it's so nice to bring some greenery from the garden into the house. Very pretty fabrics, too. x
ReplyDeleteWOW. Look at that cross stitch! I love the pink and green colour combo.
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty daffodils and can't believe we have to wait another whole 6 months for them in our part of the world. Your wall colour there is a gorgeous shade too. I also have raised bed envy. We had the raised beds and then when we decided to extend the veggie patch my husband got rid of them in favour of a 'no dig'-straight into the ground design but as you say it was very difficult to contain all the plants. It is now one big mess and we have realised we have to start again with the raised beds. Have a lovely week! Mel x
ReplyDeleteLove that cross stitch too, look forward to seeing it finished.
ReplyDeleteI really must get on with my veg beds! You put me to shame! :) x
