Late. But better late than never. Eleven months of garden moodboards. Only one more to complete a year.
November has been busy. Time has raced by. The lack of daylight has meant more cosy days by the fire. We have spent many happy hours outdoors but are thankful to get back indoors to the warm.
The garden is slowing down, preparing for its long sleep over winter. The lawn is littered with thousands of leaves. Brown, yellow, orange and red. A beautiful carpet on dry days. Green features on the evergreens around the garden, a welcome reminder that spring and all its glorious colour is not too far away.
So for now, my moodboard for November. A collection of leaves gathered in the garden. A display of vibrant colour. Sometimes decay can be quite beautiful.

To me November is such a colourful month and each day is different. Unfortunately the wind has now blown all the leaves off and the clear up begins. xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colour, but the one little thing that grabbed my eye was the holly, it just feels like the start of something beautiful to come. xoxo
ReplyDeleteA pretty mood board with such lovely colours.

Aren't the leaves just so beautiful and so varied! I can't believe we've nearly completed a year of this series. I'm enjoying it so much I'll carry on next year - will you?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, quiet, comforting, dark...so many emotions and sensations from one collection of autumn leaves! Chrissie x

ReplyDeleteLovely display of autumn-y goodness
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours :) You have done so well to stick with it all year. I think I managed about three mood boards before I gave up. But I've loved following along with other people's. I'll look forward to seeing your twelfth :)
ReplyDeleteWill you look at all the colour in those leaves! It still amazes me how much colour there is to be found, here and there, in the natural world even though we are going into the darkest time of the year. Well done on doing your monthly moodboards so far - it will be fun to look back over them. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Autumn is my favourite season.
