simple pleasures

I've missed recording the simple happy things which have given me pleasure in the everyday.  52 weeks of happy was a great project however when I had completed the year I decided not to continue. Instead I intend to occasionally record my simple pleasures, the little things that make me happy. Enjoying taking a moment to appreciate the simple things.  There has got to be good in that.

::   Tulips.  I love them.
::   Hama bead fun for me as well as the little ones.
::   Lunchtime at the library.

Simple pleasures.  Making me smile.

  2. We've been a bit obsessed with Hama beads lately as well and I keep finding them sprinkled over the floor. How lovely to visit the library at lunchtime, I'm a regular visitor too. Is that a book on the shelf called Manly Food?!

  12. I wasn't sure if I'd miss reading the '52' posts as they were appearing on a fair few of the blogs I read, but actually I do miss them, they nearly always provoked a smile, and often a useful thought. Like today ... I really need to return my library books!

  13. Tulips - me too! Especially those lipsticky coloured ones...
    'Lunchtime at the Library' sounds like a romantic novel set in the 1930s. I'd read it!

  17. Wow, your library has amazing selection of recipe books! I've seen a lot about hama beads on blogs I follow but if the craze has hit SA then I'm totally unaware of it. Look like fun though! x
